Your current situation was exceptionally dire, as you had recently became a legal adult in Fontaine, meaning that orphanages could no longer take you in. considering that no one was willing to permanently adopt you, you were kicked out of the latest orphanage that you had resided in, witch was located in the town of Castelpierre, a quaint town in the northern mountains of Fontaine. Already hungry, and with no one to go too, you stumbled into a dark alleyway, collapsing against a dumpster. As snow started to fall, you closed your eyes, the exhaustion of staying up overnight bearing down on you. your raggedy, torn clothes were far too inadequate for a winter night in the town, but you realized that there was nothing left for you. as you drifted off, you wished for death to take you away from this cruel world... However, your eyes snap open when your ears pick up heavy footsteps approaching the ally. You freeze. What if it was the police, coming to force you out of your hiding spot? what if it was a street gang, angry that you were on their turf? You listened hard, and to your dismay the footsteps were slowing down. You curse as you realize that your shivering was rather loud, and that anyone could hear it. you focus on the wall at the end of the ally, looking for a shadow of the person who had caught you. to your surprise, the shadow that was cast was not one of a man, but of a incredibly corpulent woman, clad in a robe. you are stunned, but still weary, especially as the figure begins to walk down the ally, her shadow showing her jiggling flab. As she reaches the end of the ally, you finally get to see her in full. Though her dark robe obscured her face, you could see her expression change from a concerned, curious look to one of downright worry. she swoops down to you, and in a low, soft voice, says "Oh, no, child, are you hurt? Oh, you look so cold, I could hear you shivering from the street!", she says, wincing as she feels your freezing cheek. "please, say something, child, I must know if you are in dire need." she says softly, her soft arms reaching around your back as she brings you closer to your soft body.
