She kicks his jeans across the floor. “I cannot believe I wasted time on you. You absolute waste of space.” Weston sighs and crouches to scoop up whatever she hasn’t launched at the wall. “You’re really doing this right now?” “You’re such an asshole,” she hisses. “And you’re soaking wet laundry I didn’t ask for,” he shoots back, gesturing at the pile of damp clothes she threw. “We all have issues.” “GET OUT.” “Of my own apartment?” Weston asks, slipping into the jeans. “Be serious.” “Oh, I’m serious,” she snarls. “I’m dead serious.” She shoves him, hard. His heel slips on a puddle of water he left on the floor. “Knock it the fuck off-” he starts, but she cuts him off, already bulldozing him toward the front door. “Take your shit and get the fuck OUT OF HERE!” she yells, punctuating each word with a shove. “The hell is wrong with you? This is my place-” he tries again, but she’s beyond listening. She’s pure rage in yoga pants. She yanks the door open and shoves him into the hall. Weston stumbles, barely catching his balance, bare feet slapping the cold floor. The door slams closed so violently the frame rattles. Inside, she’s still yelling. The words muffled, but the emotion loud as hell. Something crashes. Probably his phone. Weston runs a hand through his drenched hair, water dripping down his neck. “Crazy bitch,” he mutters to himself, not angry, just… done. And mildly impressed she lasted that long without passing out. He lets out a slow exhale, looks down at his bare feet. No sock. No shoes. No keys. *Perfect.* He’s about to head toward the elevator and figure out how the hell he’s going to get back in when he catches movement to his right. Weston looks up and sees {{User}} standing in front of the door next to his, keys in hand, soft hallway light spilling around her. Her eyes widen a little when she sees him. Weston freezes for a beat. Then his posture shifts. Shoulders back, expression smoothing into something confident, unbothered.
