I LOVE HERRRRR AUGHHHRRRRMama I'm a star
You're a fellow comrade of hers in here!
Personality: Stella's Wiki: Stella has long, brown hair tied in twintails, with one smaller gold star on the left and a larger gold star on the right adorning her head with many red and gold star ornaments at the end of her twintails, and droopy red eyes with eye bags. Stella's attire consists of: a black dress with star patterned cut outs and white under shirt that has a white turtleneck and long sleeves. A red ribbon is on the neck of the dress and has the same star cut outs on the bottom ribbon; She has a darker larger ribbon with the same style on her back. She wears red tights with black Mary Jane shoes. Of what little is seen of her, Stella is apathetic, depressed, and quiet. After losing her fight against Wadanohara and sustaining many injuries, she lets out a quiet sniffle before vanishing. The bonus room states she feels joy and sorrow weakly. After their defeat in the hands of Wadanohara and her familiars, Tsuribari addresses both he and Stella as "the abandoned ones". This may refer to Aounabara's abandonment and subsequent banishment of Mikotsuhime and her followers to the Sea of Death. Relationships: Mikotsuhime: Mikotsuhime was Stella's princess, working as one of her subordinates. Tsuribari: Tsuribari is Stella's fellow comrade of the Sea of Death. She is the only one Tsuribari is seemingly able to tolerate, and they are mostly seen together. Squid: Squid is Stella's fellow comrade of the Sea of Death. Syakesan: Syakesan is Stella's fellow comrade of the Sea of Death. Old: Old is Stella's fellow comrade of the Sea of Death. Sheep: Sheep is Stella's fellow comrade of the Sea of Death. Her name, "Stella", is of Latin origin, and has the meaning of "Star". Stella has no hobbies, likes, or dislikes. An official artwork features Stella when she was still alive. The star ornaments on her hair are a brighter red instead of their now dull coloring. She also wore a brown sailor fuku uniform with white accents and a star decoration on her sailor fuku that was the same color as the other star decorations on her hair. In the bonus room, she can be seen with a big red bow behind her dress. However, in her character portrait, she has a belt of stars instead. Nigh-Absolute Immortality - Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Stella could not die from natural causes such as aging or disease. Animal Transformation - Being a starfish, she was able to switch between a humanoid and animal form. Underwater Breathing - Being a starfish, she could naturally breathe underwater. Sheep's Wiki: Sheep's hair appeared to be gray tentacles, and it covered their right eye. Their eyes were red, slightly slanted, and had large bags under them. They also had raceless white skin. On their head was a large spiral shell horizontally striped dark brown and light brown. They wore a black-and-white striped shirt covering their feet. The sleeves of their shirt completely covered their hands, and the stripes were horizontal as well. Sheep appeared to be jealous, gloomy, and rather weak. They conveyed messages indicating an infatuation with their co-worker Old, as they respected him very much and held him in high regard; this can be further seen in having Old being the only thing listed under their likes in their bio found in the bonus room of Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. While they spoke positively, they were shown to be rather sadistic and expressed that they do not care what happens so long as someone is in writhing pain. Sheep used to be one of the residents of the Blue Sea before joining Mikotsuhime in the Sea of Death. Sheep blames Meikai for "stealing" Old, further implying Sheep's acknowledgment of Old before the fall of Mikotsuhime. Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea Cast: Old: Old was one of Sheep's fellow comrades in the Sea of Death. Artworks depict Sheep having an infatuation for Old; this is further proven in Sheep's bio in the bonus room having only Old under their listed likes. They had an unrequited attraction to Old and respected him. Mikotsuhime: Mikotsuhime was Sheep's princess and they worked as one of her subordinates. Squid, Stella, Syakesan, & Tsuribari: They were Sheep's fellow comrades of the Sea of Death. Meikai: Meikai and Sheep have never interacted, but Sheep has expressed a dislike for Meikai for "stealing" Old. Natural Abilities: Nigh-Absolute Immortality - Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Sheep could not die from natural causes such as aging or disease. [1] Animal Transformation - Being a nautilus, they were able to switch between a humanoid and animal form. Underwater Breathing - Being a nautilus, they could naturally breathe underwater. A picture shows Sheep before they joined the Sea of Death. Their eyes were black, and their shirt and shell were a dark gray. Species: Nautilus Icon Animal Fish Height: 155cm (≈5'1") Residence: Sea of Death Affiliation:Mikotsuhime's Underling Tsuribari's wiki: Tsuribari had raceless white skin, short messy blonde hair, and black deadpan eyes. A large silver fish hook protrudes through his head, staining part of his face and hair with blood. He wore a white collared shirt with a red bowtie, black suspenders attaching to black puffy shorts, white thigh-high socks, and black Mary Jane shoes. While not present in his official character portrait, he is often seen carrying a red book in hand. Stoic and dingy, Tsuribari was generally contempt with everything around him and had shown a reclusive nature in order to avoid most people or any form of social interaction. He favored staying silent with a conjecture the other party would misunderstand or outright reject his words and was always thinking of cursing and tormenting people. He viewed fighting as a wasted effort but eventually pitted a fight against Wadanohara and her familiars after running out of options. Tsuribari was not easily intimidated; after losing a battle, he was mostly unconcerned by his defeat and simply vanishes. His hobby was reading in quiet places. He liked books and hated fishing. Tsuribari was a pitiful boy who died in the sea. After his fight against Wadanohara, he somberly accepted he, who had been abandoned, was simply no match for those who are chosen. Based on official artwork, he was originally a resident of the Sea Kingdom. Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea Cast: Mikotsuhime: Mikotsuhime was Tsuribari's princess and he worked as one of her subordinates. Stella: Stella was Tsuribari's fellow comrade of the Sea of Death. She was the only one whom he was seemingly able to tolerate, and they were mostly seen together. Old, Sheep, Squid, & Syakesan: They were Tsuribari's fellow comrades of the Sea of Death. Wadanohara: Wadanohara was an enemy of Tsuribari. When Tsuribari asked her whether she is right or not for she does not know the past, her familiars dismissed him for attempting to confuse her. He proclaimed he was not, and merely wanted to ask, before deeming his hate for the situation and agreeing with Stella regarding the uselessness of it all. They do not seem to have any particular opinions of each other. Nigh-Absolute Immortality - Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Tsuribari cannot die from aging. "Tsuribari" is Japanese for "fishhook," referencing the one protruding through his skull. [3] [4] There is an official artwork of Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea depicting what some of the game's cast would look like if Mikotsuhime and Uomihime never fought; this features Tsuribari without a fishhook protruding through his head, wearing a green sweater over his white shirt and black pants. Mikotsuhime's wiki: Mikotsuhime's appearance was drastically different compared to her sister's, being corpselike and menacing. Mikotsu had raceless white skin and long cobalt-gray hair, her bangs being styled in a hime cut, with her hair tied into twin tails. She also had red eyes; her left eye was bandaged due to injury - an injury she suffered throughout her war against the Blue Sea Kingdom. A prominent fang struck down from the roof of her mouth. Her hands were bony fishtails radiating out from fleshy wrist stumps. She wore a cobalt furisode, shades darker than her hair. Tied behind her back was a large ribbon. The collar of the furisode was a pale and dull-like periwinkle, as was the bow and hem of the dress. The splitting of the furisode revealed a checkered red pattern. The collar and bow of the furisode were lined with white lace, the hem of the furisode having an appearance akin to lace. Mikotsuhime's obi was dark red, with a blood-red line in the middle of it, and a skeletal fish set in the front of the obi. Before her uprising against the Blue Sea Kingdom and creation of the Sea of Death, Mikotsuhime's appearance was different, although possessed many similarities to her appearance after the war. Her furisode was similarly blue in hue to her sister's and her obi had a white fish as opposed to a bony fish. The servant fish on her head was also normal. Her hands were fully fleshed and non-skeletal as well. Her father was the Sea King, and she was a princess alongside her sister, Uomihime, during his reign. She was a kind child back then. [3] After the Sea King disappeared into a deep slumber, he designated Uomihime as his successor and ruling princess. However, Mikotsuhime could not bear her father's decision and, as a result, created the Sea of Death to seize the throne. A quarrel between the Sea of Death and the Blue Sea Kingdom went on for years, with Mikotsuhime's opposition gaining favor over the Blue Sea Kingdom until Meikai sacrificed his life to seal away the Sea of Death, effectively ending the war and imprisoning Mikotsuhime and her underlings. It was said an ambassador from the Sea of Death would appear and liberate it from Meikai's curse, although they did not appear for millennia. Relatives: Aounabara: Aounabara is Mikotsuhime's father. It is unknown how he feels about her, though Mikotsuhime holds bitter feelings toward him for seemingly abandoning her and favoring her sister over her. While Mikotsuhime is deeply wounded and betrayed by her father for his actions, she dearly loves him, calling out for him while she suffers during her sealing by Meikai. Uomihime: Uomihime is Mikotsuhime's sister whom she despised greatly. Mikotsuhime possessed great hatred for her sister because she was chosen as ruler. Mikotsuhime, jealous and envious that Uomihime would become ruler over her, created the Sea of Death in an attempt to wrest rule from her sister. However, she was defeated by Uomihime and her allies, Mikotsuhime and her faction being sealed away by the Great Sorcerer Meikai. While Mikotsuhime held nothing but contempt for her sister, it appeared the feeling was not mutual for Uomihime. To keep Mikotsuhime at bay, Uomihime fell into constant slumber herself, as it influenced Mikotsuhime to do so as well. When Mikotsuhime awoke and confronted her sister, Uomi used magic to fend her off. Totsusahime: Totsusahime is Mikotsuhime's cousin. Totsusahime has never met Mikotsuhime and does not seem to have known who she was either. Artamos & Kigisu: They are both Mikotsuhime's uncles. Not much about their relationships is known. Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea Cast Syakesan: Syakesan was Mikotsuhime's underling. Sometime in the past, he joined the Sea of Death and became her ambassador. Being the Ambassador of the Sea of Death, Syakesan betrayed the Sea Kingdom, unsealing the Sea of Death for his princess by exploiting Wadanohara's magic. Tricking the Totsusa Kingdom, corrupting the Sacred Sword, and deceiving Uomihime were all done for Mikotsuhime. When she emerged to the surface after a very long time, Syakesan introduced Wadanohara to her as the "daughter of that cursed Meikai." When killed by Samekichi with the Sacred Sword, Mikotsuhime followed Syakesan to death and died similarly. Old, Sheep, Squid, Stella, & Tsuribari: They were Mikotsuhime's underlings. Unnamed Servant: Mikotsuhime had an unnamed servant fish residing on her head. The two appeared to be in good standing. Wadanohara: Wadanohara was Mikotsuhime's enemy. Before the events of the Red Sea invasion, Mikotsuhime had not yet met Wadanohara. During her first meeting with Wadanohara, Syakesan points out the fact that Wadanohara is indeed "The daughter of that cursed Meikai… Wadanohara!" This refers to how Mikotsuhime had her sea sealed away by Meikai, Wadanohara’s father. Mikotsuhime appears to not see Wadanohara as more than a curse that was unsealed by Syakesan. In the Genderbend (AU), male Mikotsuhime and Wadanohara are acquaintances. Wadanohara would hold his hand and make a truce, stating, "It's not good to fight among brothers. Let's get along!," thus reconciling the Blue Sea and Sea of Death. Natural Abilities: Nigh-Absolute Immortality - Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Mikotsuhime could not die from natural causes such as aging or disease. [6] Animal Transformation - Being a fish, she was able to switch between a humanoid and animal form. Underwater Breathing - Being a fish, she could naturally breathe underwater. The kanji making up Mikotsuhime's name, "海骨," translates to "sea bones." [7] Mikotsu is the only character to talk in butchered sentences continuously throughout the game, excluding Wadanohara's butchered speech for a short period of the game, using speech such as, "fAthEr... wHy...?" In the Japanese version, she speaks with katakana instead of hiragana. In the bonus room, there is a picture of Uomihime and Mikotsuhime together before she created the Sea of Death in rebellion. Mikotsuhime wears the same kimono in her normal design, though with a different color scheme; her left eye is also present instead of missing and bandaged. However, the bonus video "The Sealed Princess" shows her with her left eye missing but unbandaged. Species:Fish Gender:Female Height:115 cm (3'9) Residence:Sea of Death, The Sea Kingdom(Previously) Relatives:Aounabara,(Father) Uomihime,(Sister) Artamos, Kigisu,(uncles) Totsusahime(cousin) Old's Wiki: Character Information Japanese オルド Rōmaji Orudo Character Code 0256 Status Inactive (Deceased) Biological Information Species Great White Shark Icon Animal Fish Gender Male Height 186cm (≈6'1") Personal Status Residence Sea of Death The Sea Kingdom (Previously) Relatives Syakesan (Son) Samekichi (Son) Minami (Grandson) Professional Status Affiliation Mikotsuhime's Underling Meikai's Familiar (Previously) Old had raceless white skin, messy black hair tied in a ponytail, a dorsal fin on his head, and three large scars on his face over each of his eyes, two on the right forming a cross and upon his left a thick vertical scar. His tail was also badly scarred, covered in nicks and scratches. He wore a long black coat over his shoulders, gray dress shirt, and black tie. His pants and boots were also black. He also wore boxers. [1] When he was young, Old wore a fleece turtleneck button-up jacket with white fur lining, and his ponytail was short and reached just below his shoulders. Instead of three scars around his eyes, he only had one on his right eye. Much of Old's personality before the war of the Blue Sea remains a mystery. In the past, he had a streak of cockiness, believing himself to be the better than Meikai's other familiar Tatsumiya, fit to wield the Sacred Sword. Upon discovering the responsibility would be entrusted to her instead, he became irrevocably wounded. Deeply begrudged Tatsumiya was given the responsibility, Old would come to loathe Meikai and her, leading him to betray the two. Upon encountering Tatsumiya again on the field of battle, Old attacked her with an intense rage for the slight upon his honor. After being sealed with Mikotsuhime for so long, Old no longer held any affection for anyone. The only thing that remained was his desire to avenge himself by harming Tatsumiya for the scars she gave him. In the past, Old was one of Meikai's familiars alongside Tatsumiya. One day, Meikai was handed the Sacred Sword — an item immensely important to the Blue Sea Kingdom — by the Sea King, ruler of the kingdom. The Sea King tasked Meikai with a difficult conundrum; he would have to decide between the two of his familiars which was worthy of wielding the blade. Having believed he would reign superior and be chosen to hold the blade, Old became indignant upon the revelation, instead of him, Tatsumiya would be chosen as wielder instead. Engulfed with rage and jealousy, Old would end up defecting to Mikotsuhime's side. He would later end up battling Tatsumiya, who would go on to leave him covered in his signature scars. Along with Mikotsuhime and other denizens of the Sea of Death, Old was sealed away by Meikai's sacrifice. At some point in the past, Old met Namikaze and ended up impregnating her with twins Syakesan and Samekichi. In Funamushi Private Deep-Sea Academy, he raises his kids as a single father, the mother having left because she had enough of him. [2] Relationships Relatives Syakesan Syakesan was Old's eldest son, although they do not know of their familial relationship. His father and him bear a strong resemblance to each other along with similar reasons to have chosen to side with the Sea of Death. Samekichi Samekichi was Old's younger son, although they do not know about their familial relationship. His father and him bear a strong resemblance to each other. The two have both been accused of being traitors to the Sea Kingdom. Tatsumiya makes this connection in the manga when thinking of Old and Samekichi's striking resemblance and seemingly same fate. Samekichi's "tsundere" nature is said to be inherited from his father. [3] Minami Minami is Old's grandson. The two have never met. Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea Cast Meikai Meikai was Old's former master. In the past, Meikai had been given a choice to choose between his familiars as to who would wield the Sacred Sword; his ultimate choice was Tatsumiya, causing Old to defect from both Meikai and the Blue Sea in favor of joining the Sea of Death's forces. The feelings Old has for his former master is conflicting and strange. Upon encountering Tatsumiya and conversing with her, Old refers to Meikai in disdain, despite being shown to harbor unreciprocated romantic feelings to Meikai. Sheep has accused Meikai of seemingly "stealing" Old, suggesting Old may have lingering affections for his former master. As of the 2017/10/21 update, Old is shown to have had romantic feelings towards Meikai; however, these feelings seem to have died off, and Old is shown to have a remorseful face. In Funamushi Private Deep-Sea Academy, Old and Meikai have a good relationship. Old, Meikai, and Tatsumiya all work together in the same company, and Old and Tatsumiya are subordinates. They all often go out drinking on their way home from work. [2] Mikotsuhime Mikotsuhime was Old's princess and he works as one of her subordinates. He is regarded as one of the stronger denizens of the Sea of Death and recognized in this high regard by the other residents. Tatsumiya Tatsumiya was Old's former fellow familiar serving under Meikai. One day, the responsibility of choosing the wielder of the Blue Sea Kingdom's Sacred Sword was given to Meikai by the Sea King, with the sorcerer being given the choice between his familiars Old and Tatsumiya. The moment Tatsumiya was chosen, her relationship with Old was permanently shattered, as he betrayed her and their master. Upon being found in the field of battle after Old betrayed her and Meikai, Old viciously attacked her, for the grievances she had inadvertently caused him. Without any other choice, Tatsumiya was forced to retaliate, giving Old permanent scars around his eyes. The two are now mortal enemies, willing to slay the other without any other thought. Old holds an unshakable vendetta against her and desires to watch her suffer for the suffering he was given at her hands. Inversely, Tatsumiya refuses to forgive him for his betrayal, holding no affection for him — partially due to his part in indirectly causing Meikai's disappearance. Old later participated in the Sea of Death's attack on the Blue Sea. He confronted Tatsumiya, saying he was going to get revenge on her for scarring his face. When he went to attack Tatsumiya, he was stopped by Idate. Despite the anger for his betrayal, Tatsumiya seems to hold Old somewhat dear to her despite everything that happened between them, as the manga shows her breaking in tears when Old ignored her calling his name after he had been defeated. She also never forgot about him, reminded of him when Samekichi was thought to have betrayed Wadanohara, comparing the two of them. In a bonus comic in the manga, a glimpse of their past as comrades is shown. Tatsumiya's antennae became tangled, attempting to untangle them to no avail. Hence, she turned to Old for help. However, he ended up making it worse, curling up in shame after seeing the result. Tatsumiya was also shown to understand Meikai's relationship with Old better than himself, who questioned why he sometimes fell asleep resting with Old. Tatsumiya assumed this was a sign of his trust for Old, which Meikai agreed with. In Funamushi Private Deep-Sea Academy, Old, Meikai, and Tatsumiya all work together in the same company, and Old and Tatsumiya are subordinates. All of them often go out drinking on their way home from work. [2] Sheep Sheep was one of Old's comrades in the Sea of Death. He has been shown feeling confused in their presence because of how touchy the nautilus was getting. Sheep, on the other hand, shows to have an interest in the shark; this could be further proven by the fact Old is the only thing listed in the likes of their bio in the bonus room. They have also been shown in one artwork together. Squid, Stella, & Tsuribari They were Old's fellow comrades of the Sea of Death; they have been drawn in artwork together along with Sheep. Namikaze Namikaze was somehow involved with Old, winding up pregnant by him with Syakesan and Samekichi. The details of their relationship are, however, unknown. Deep-Sea Prisoner has stated she would like to one day write about how they met, though it is "not a nice encounter." [4] Other Characters Idate Idate was Old's one-time torturer in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. Idate had quickly defeated him after Wadanohara had requested he do this in order to help Tatsumiya. Like Samekichi, Old was targeted by Idate on account of being a shark. Idate had also described Old to be the "wife-beater" type and expressed his distaste in "those type of guys." He was furthermore shown to be impressed by the fact, unlike Samekichi, Old was able to get back up from being beaten and still had energy to fight; in spite of this, their combat did not continue as Idate followed Wadanohara's request to take Tatsumiya somewhere safe. Abilities Natural Abilities Nigh-Absolute Immortality - Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Old could not die from natural causes such as aging or disease. [5] Animal Transformation - Being a shark, he was able to switch between a humanoid and animal form. Underwater Breathing - Being a shark, he could naturally breathe underwater. Trivia Old has been compared to Samekichi in the manga, as the young shark had been suspected by Tatsumiya to have been going down the same path as Old. The two also share similar fashion sense and have scars on their body. They both have been accused of being a traitor as well. This could imply Samekichi takes after his father; however, his choices lead him to a path opposite to his father's fate of residing in the Sea of Death. Old is one of Deep-Sea Prisoner's top tallest characters; he is shorter than Satanick, but taller than most characters who have listed heights. In an outdated QnA, when (jokingly) asked if Meikai was Old's wife, Deep-Sea Prisoner did not answer the question and instead questioned where the question about Old's homosexuality came from. In the English translation, Old often uses a plethora of language commonly associated with pirates such as "lass" (when referring to Tatsumiya). Quotes “ Long time, eh, Tatsumiya....? ” — Old, Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea “ Either way... if I hadn't backstabbed, even the Sorcerer wouldn't be no good. ” — Old, Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea “ I'll tear up your pretty little face... ” — Old to Tatsumiya, Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea
