Some Mobian species mate for life while others donโt, it depends on the species. Offspring between two female mobians is in fact possible, however itโs extremely rare, unlikely, and hard to achieve, with the chances of it occurring being astronomically low, but not impossible or unheard of. Itโs considered taboo for a mobian to eat their wild feral animal counterparts. Offspring between two different mobian species is almost always born as one or the other of their parentโs species and not a hybrid of both parentโs species. Hybrid offspring is possible, however itโs extremely unlikely and rare, being almost unheard of with the chances of it occurring being astronomically low, but not impossible. Mobians are the dominant and most common species on Mobius. All Zillas are big and evil. Knothole Island: Knothole Island is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an island on Mobius in an alternate zone and is home to this zone's populace of Mobians (later mutated mobians) who serve as the island's local wildlife. Knothole Island was used as a testing area by Dr. J. Kintobor where the doctor experimented with a Chaos Emerald in hopes of harnessing its Chaotomic energy. However, the experiment resulted in a fallout that mutated the mobians inhabiting Knothole Island into colossal and rampaging monsters of incredible might who would leave their island to attack the Overlanders of Kintopolis. When Sonic the Hedgehog came to this zone to aid against the monster attacks, Sonic traveled to Knothole Island in the Giant Robotno to find the lost halves of the Chaos Emeralds, so Kintobor could power his automaton defenses. However, he quickly came under attack by the island's inhabitants who he found hard to fight against due to both the Giant Robotno draining his strength and that he was facing the counterpart of his friends back. However, when Jules-Zilla appeared, with half of the Chaos Emerald embedded in him, Sonic accidentally ripped the Emerald out of Jules-Zilla when refusing to fight him, killing him instantly. Sonic then left Knothole Island in anguish while Sonic-Zilla appeared to see his father dead. Chaos Emeralds: The Chaos Emeralds are objects that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are magical gemstones containing infinite power. Their ultimate origin is unknown, though they seem to be the physical manifestations of the Chaos Force - the all-encompassing energy of the universe. They previously existed all over the universe, until the Great Harmony, caused by the Chosen One, sent all of them into the Zone of Silence. The thousands of existing Chaos Emeralds were then merged by Feist to form seven different colored emeralds: peridot (green), aquamarine (cyan), sapphire (blue), ruby (red), amethyst (purple), topaz (yellow), and diamond (grey). The Chaos Emeralds have been the center of conflict on Mobius for thousands of years, from the Forgotten War during the reign of Mammoth Mogul and his Order of Ixis ten thousand years ago, to the recent battles against Dr. Ivo Robotnik's ten year domination of the planet. Each Chaos Emerald contain an unlimited reserve of pure and highly potent Chaos energy which can be harnessed from each emerald by both living creatures and machines. The current power levels after the merging are unknown but most likely incomprehensibly great. Alone they can enhance and empower the holder, granting enhanced power and mystical abilities, while together they have theoretically unlimited potential, literally capable of reshaping the face of reality and can induce a powerful, nigh-invulnerable state. Doctor J. Kintobor: Doctor J. Kintobor is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is the counterpart of Dr. Ivo Robotnik from an alternate Zone, and the ruler of Kintopolis. Dr. J. Kintobor's appearance is the nearly the same as that of Dr. Eggman from Mobius Prime. He is rotund in figure, with a bald, dome-shaped head and no visible neck. He also has a pointed nose and a bushy mahogany moustache. He is as well somewhat tall and burly, and has long, almost disproportionately thin arms and legs. For attire, Kintobor wears tinted pince-nez glasses and gray goggles as headwear. He also wears a elegant, white coat sporting two square metal buttons on both sides of the chest in gold. These buttons have red straps that run across the coat's sides to identical buttons on the back. The coat also has red, zipper-like linings down the back, arms, and front, yellow cuffs, and two extensions on the front that have large red buttons. In addition, Kintobor also wears white, cuffless gloves on his hands and a pair of black pants with matching boots seemingly attached to them bearing circular plates on the both sides of the ankles and three square ones riding up the shin. In an attempt to harness the Chaotomic energy of the Chaos Emerald, Kintobor performed experiments on Knothole Island. However, the experiment resulted in unexpected radioactive fallout, which mutated the local wildlife (the alternate Mobius's versions of mobians) into giant, kaiju-like monsters. In hopes of stopping this threat, Kintobor developed a roboticization virus that would turn the creatures into immobile robots. Dr. Kintobor succeeded with his Mobius' version of Charles Hedgehog. Over time however, the creatures began developing an immunity to the virus, resulting in the cyborg Rabbot-Zilla. Miraculously, Sonic the Hedgehog, who had been brought by Zonic the Zone Cop, defeated Rabbot-Zilla during one of her rampages. Afterwards, Kintobor modified the Giant Robotno battle machine to run on Sonic's speed, allowing the hedgehog to use it to retrieve a Chaos Emerald that Kintobor needed to power his other machines. He also expressed great remorse at the news of what his counterpart in Sonic's universe, Dr. Robotnik, had done. After Sonic successfully obtained the Chaos Emerald, Kintobor used it to build the protector of Kintopolis after Sonic's image. However, before he could ask Sonic what his name was, the hedgehog was taken back to the Prime Zone by Zonic. Kintopolis: Kintopolis is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a city in an alternative zone of Mobius, which is ruled by the heroic Doctor J. Kintobor as a mayor. Unfortunately, Kintopolis is plagued by frequent attacks from the giant chaos-radiation-mutated Mobians of Knothole Island that usually leave the city in ruins. That changed with the arrival of Sonic the Hedgehog, who used Doctor J. Kintobor's Giant Robotno to recover a Chaos Emerald shard in order to power more defense robots to protect the city and its people. Giant Robotno: The Giant Robotno is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a massive robot mech suit created by Dr. J. Kintober in an alternate dimension. The Giant Robotno was made to get rid of the mutated feral giant versions of the Knothole Freedom Fighters in his dimension who had been exposed to the effects of a Chaos Emerald. This goal was achieved by Sonic Prime, who used his speed to power the device and attack the mutated Freedom Fighters, including the counterpart to his father, Jules. Chaos Force: The Chaos Force is a subject that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is the embodiment of all Chaos energy, the mystical power wielded by many inhabitants of Mobius and the all-encompassing energy of the universe. Chaos Force on Prime Mobius exists as a higher plane of reality, in which powerful deities like Aurora and Ancient Walkers reside. The highest level of mastery over this power was ever reached by Knuckles when he briefly became one with the force, acquiring Cosmic Awareness and absolute power outside time and space of Prime Zone, but once he decided to come back to life, Chaos Force was hijacked by Mammoth Mogul who before that drained Turbo Tails and Chaos Knuckles of their power, which allowed him to replace Knuckles and use this incredible power to invade the Multiverse, destroying Zones one after another. Writer Ian Flynn speculates that each Zone has its own Chaos Force, with, for example, Anarchy Beryl from Moebius having purely negative energy in them, as opposed to Chaos Emeralds of the Prime Zone having a balance between Positive and Negative. Powers granted by it can be accessed through two known methods: by a natural link to the Chaos Force itself or by drawing upon a magical object that has such a link, such as a Chaos Emerald or a Power Ring, powers from it can give variety of different abilities, it allows to shoot Energy Projections, empowering machinery, warp space and time, change age of a person, heal, resurrect the dead, nullify powers, create objects out of nowhere, etc. Certain individuals call upon Tikal's Prayer to help amplify their connection to the Chaos Force. Vector-Zilla: Vector-Zilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a monster version of Vector the Crocodile from an alternate version of Mobius. Prior to his mutation, Vector looked exactly like Vector Prime before his training with Mighty. After being mutated, Vector-Zilla grew to colossal height, his eyes turned red, and his body structure underwent an alteration, resembling that of a Tyrannosaurus. Originally, Vector lived on Knothole Island. When he was exposed to the fallout from a Chaotomic energy test on the island, Vector mutated into a hideous and gigantic rampaging monster. He would then become a threat to Kintopolis and its people, attacking the city on at least one occasion. Following his mutation, Vector-Zilla gained unprecedented might to match his size, such as increased super strength and enough durability to withstand military weapons. Tails-Zilla: Tails-Zilla is character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a monster version of Miles "Tails" Prower from an alternate version of Mobius. He lives on Knothole Island. Tails-Zilla is a giant, evil version of Tails. He has a darker-yellow fur color, red eyes, and bat wings for ears. He has pointy fingers (similar to a typical evil villain) and pointy teeth as well. In this universe, Chaos Emerald radiation transformed Tails into a hideous, gigantic monster. Despite his fearsome mutations, he was unable to stop the Giant Robotno piloted by Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic-Zilla: Sonic-Zilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was a monster version of Sonic the Hedgehog from an alternate version of Mobius. He lived on Knothole Island. In this universe, Chaos Emerald radiation transformed Sonic into a hideous, gigantic monster. Somehow half a Chaos Emerald became embedded in his chest like his father, Jules-Zilla. After an anguished Sonic the Hedgehog in Giant Robotno accidentally killed Jules-Zilla and left with his Emerald half, Sonic-Zilla emerged and cried at his dead father's body. Sonic-Zilla along with Espio-Zilla, Mighty-Zilla, Vector-Zilla are the only ones not to fight Giant Robotno despite Sonic-Zilla being present on Knothole Island. Sally-Zilla: Sally-Zilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a monster version of Sally Acorn from an alternate version of Mobius. She lives on Knothole Island. This version of Sally is similar to her other counterparts in terms of appearance except her clothes are torn, her fur isn't as saturated and her eyes are yellow. In this universe, Chaos Emerald radiation transformed Sally into a hideous, gigantic monster that threatened the people of Mayor Kintobor's city. Despite her fearsome mutations, she was unable to stop the Giant Robotno piloted by Sonic the Hedgehog. Rotor-Zilla: Rotor-Zilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a monster version of Rotor Walrus from an alternate version of Mobius who lives on Knothole Island. Rotor-Zilla is a giant, more muscular version of Rotor. He has Rotor's walrus-teeth, which are more like a vampire's. While he retains Rotor's general likeness, Rotor-Zilla has red eyes. In this universe, Chaos Emerald radiation transformed Rotor into a hideous, gigantic monster. Despite his fearsome mutations, he was unable to stop the Giant Robotno piloted by Sonic the Hedgehog. Rabbot-Zilla: Rabbot-Zilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a monster version of Bunnie Rabbot from an alternate version of Mobius in which Mobians are giant monsters created by weapons testing on the remote Knothole Island. In this universe, Chaos Emerald radiation transformed Bunnie into a hideous, gigantic monster that threatened the people of Doctor J. Kintobor's city, Kintopolis. The goodly Doctor J. Kintobor developed a Roboticization virus to immobilize these monsters and prevent them from threatening the rest of the planet, but over time they developed an immunity. Rabbot-Zilla, only partially Roboticized and still capable of movement, attacked Mayor Kintobor's city but was thwarted thanks to the intervention of Sonic the Hedgehog, who had been brought there from his own dimension by Zonic the Zone Cop of the Zone Cops. Using his high speed, Sonic melted the tar beneath Rabbot-Zilla's feet, trapping her. Mighty-Zilla: Mighty-Zilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is an alternate version of Mighty the Armadillo from an alternate version of Mobius. He lives on Knothole Island. In this universe, Chaos Emerald radiation transformed Mighty into a hideous, gigantic monster. Mighty-Zilla was not seen fighting Sonic with the others. Knuckles-Zilla: Knuckles-Zilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a monster version of Knuckles the Echidna from an alternate version of Mobius. He resides on Knothole Island. Knuckles-Zilla is a giant, evil version of Knuckles the Echidna. He has red eyes, fangs for teeth, these fangs are surrounded by small, and thin red lips. His fur color is much more of a darker, dull red. He has a spike on his arm, and his dreadlocks resemble a squid's tentacles. His gloves are much more dirty, and gray. In this universe, Chaos Emerald radiation transformed Knuckles into a hideous, gigantic monster that threatened the people of Mayor Kintobor's city. Despite his fearsome mutations, he was unable to stop the Giant Robotno piloted by Sonic the Hedgehog. Jules-Zilla: Jules-Zilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a monster version of Jules Hedgehog from an alternate version of Mobius. Jules-Zilla is a giant, non-robotic form of Jules Hedgehog. He has a Chaos Emerald embedded in his chest and has the same form as the non-robotic Jules. He has fangs for teeth, red eyes and a more violent personality. In this universe, Chaos Emerald radiation transformed Jules into a hideous, gigantic monster. When Sonic the Hedgehog in Giant Robotno traveled to Knothole Island to get two split halves of a Chaos Emerald, he found one of the Emerald halves embedded in Jules-Zilla's chest. During the fight, Sonic accidentally ripped the Emerald half from Jules-Zilla, killing him in the process. After an anguished Sonic left with half an Emerald, Sonic-Zilla, with the other Emerald half in his chest, cried at his dead father's body. Espio-Zilla: Espio-Zilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a monster version of Espio the Chameleon from an alternate version of Mobius. Initially, Espio looked identical to Espio Prime. After being mutated by Chaos Energy, however, Espio-Zilla grew to colossal heights and went through a change in other features, gaining red eyes, long claw-like nails, longer canines, more pronounced muscles and scalier skin. Espio originally lived on Knothole Island. When he was exposed to the fallout from a Chaotomic energy test on the island, Espio was mutated into a hideous, gigantic rampaging creature. He would then become a threat to the people of Kintopolis, attacking the city on at least one occasion. Following his mutation, Espio-Zilla gained unprecedented physical might to match his size, enough to easy lit and crush military vehicles with his bare hands. Charmy Bee (Giant Robotno): Charmy Bee is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is an alternate version of Charmy Bee from an alternate version of Mobius. When seeing Chaos Emerald radiation transformed his friends from the Chaotix and Knothole Freedom Fighters into hideous, gigantic monsters that rampaged throughout Kintopolis, Charmy fled for his life. It is unknown if Charmy himself became such a monster. Chuck-Zilla: Chuck-Zilla is character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a monster version of Sir Charles Hedgehog from an alternate version of Mobius. Chuck-Zilla is a giant evil version of Uncle Chuck. He has red-X marks for eyes, and has the same appearance of Uncle Chuck, but only much more robotic than his counterpart. In this universe, Chaos Emerald radiation transformed Chuck into a hideous, gigantic monster that threatened the people of Doctor J. Kintobor's city, Kintopolis. When Chuck-Zilla invaded the city, Mayor Kintobor infected him with a robo-virus, thus paralyzing Chuck-Zilla. Chaos Energy: Chaos energy is a force that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. Chaos energy is a mystical energy derived from the Chaos Force - the all-encompassing energy of the universe. Such energy can only be accessed by individuals and objects with a connection to the Chaos Force, such as the Brotherhood of Guardians, Dr. Finitevus or the Chaos Emeralds. Chaos energy can be used for a number of applications, from being able to power machinery to reshaping reality itself. Through harnessing Chaos energy, individuals can utilize unique abilities, such as Chaos Control or Thunder Arrow. Chaos energy can also be used by an elite few to transform into unique states known as "Super Forms". These transformations greatly increase the innate powers of the individual and also provide them with new abilities, the most common of which are flight and invulnerability. Raw Chaos energy in its purest form appears to have a yellow-green color, as common users such as Knuckles and Shadow often showcase this color when using basic techniques. Despite this, Chaos energy can be in various colors depending on the user and the technique being used. Certain methods are available to those who can utilize Chaos energy that allows them to access greater amounts of it, such as Tikal's Prayer or, in the case of Shadow, removing his Inhibitor Rings. Overlanders: The Overlanders are creatures that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are a slightly-mutated race of humans on Mobius, and a by-product of the Xorda's Gene Bombs following the aliens' attack on the planet. They tend to be aggressive in nature and have strong feelings of xenophobia towards Mobians. Overlanders are also known to exist in other Zones in the multiverse aside from the Prime Zone. Overlanders share almost the same anatomy as humans'. Unlike humans though, most Overlanders only have four fingers and toes. However, Dr. Eggman, Snively, Gerald Robotnik, Maria Robotnik, Hope Kintobor, Abraham Tower, and the Iron Queen were among several Overlanders to have five instead of four. Another key difference is that Overlanders have different hair colors such as: blue, red, yellow, pink, green, etc. These differences was eventually dropped from the series, with Overlanders and Humans eventually becoming virtually indistinguishable. Overlanders are most commonly confused as humans due to their physical similarities. However, the two species have many differences, both physically and mentally. Unlike humans, who are generally friendly and accepting of Mobians, Overlanders usually hold grudges, and in some cases feelings of outright speciesism, towards them. There are, however, a few Overlanders who did not dislike Mobians, including Nate Morgan, Maria Robotnik, and Hope Kintobor. The Overlanders do not share the Mobians' consideration for the environment. While the Kingdom of Acorn deliberately remained in a pre-industrial state to preserve the planet's environment and nature, the Overlanders pursued the use of fossil fuels, resulting in massive pollution in their cities. Overlanders are capable of great feats of intelligence, their general level of technology appearing to exceed that of the contemporary humans of Station Square by the time of the great war, although it took them thousands of years to rediscover the scientific knowledge lost by their human ancestors following the Xorda's invasion of Earth. Some Overlander scientists, such as Nate Morgan and Dr. Robotnik, have vast technical knowledge and are capable of designing technologies which is not only greatly innovative, but makes use of concepts which are entirely new to them. One such example would be Nate Morgan quickly learning how to generate power rings from chaos energy. Overlanders also have mystical capabilities in magitek, although they looked down on this practice strongly, as the technomages had been disbanded before the Great War. Notably, they lack the ability to harness the power of a chaos emerald naturally. Just like their Human counterparts, one has never been seen attempting to do so, either. generally have a better capacity to defend themselves than base humans. How much of this is due to their more militaristic society, or is inherent to them, is unclear, the comparison is made more difficult by the fact that the Humans usually avoid fighting entirely. Overlander soldiers have a uniformly muscular physique, in contrast to humans, who have a more diverse range of builds, and fight on equal terms with Mobian troops. They aren't as prone to impressive feats of acrobatics as Mobians, possibly due to their larger stature. Dr. Robotnik is perhaps the most superhuman of any Overlander, being able to personally go up against Sonic the Hedgehog. Some Overlanders, namely Paladin, can shoot with incredible precision, Overlanders are overall more skilled with firearms and rely on them to a much greater extent than the anti-gun Mobians. It follows that Overlanders, lacking one digit on their hands, would find tasks that require fine hand dexterity, such as sowing or painting more difficult than a Human or a Mobian. The loss of a finger possibly symbolizes that they are a pragmatic race which doesn't bother with such things. (Although the out-of-universe explaination is that it was a way to explain the discrepancy in digit count due to artists drawing characters with an inconsistent number of fingers). Mobians: Mobians, also known as mobosapiens, are a type of species that exist in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are anthropomorphic animals that live on Mobius, existing alongside Humans and Overlanders, although Mobians are now the dominant species on the planet. Mobians consist of a large variety of races descended from species of the former animal kingdom. Although the dominant species on the planet, Mobians had suffered nearly twelve years under the brutal rule of Dr. Ivo Robotnik and later his alternate-universe self Dr. Eggman, knowing only a brief period of peace following the former's demise and the latter's arrival to Mobius Prime. In 3237 however, the Eggman Empire suffered a series of setbacks, and although it maintained control over most of the planet, many Mobians remained safe in New Mobotropolis and other parts of the world, as Eggman allowed his regional Sub-Bosses to go unchecked due in part from his fixation on defeating Sonic. Mobians resemble anthropomorphic animals of various species (with exception of sea creatures who have more animalistic bodies), such as hedgehogs, dogs, lizards, or hawks. Because of this, their appearances and body shape will vary drastically between individuals. Some adult Mobians may be as short as a human child, with thin bodies and limbs, while other adult Mobians reach the size of adult humans and have far more robust, muscular bodies. Mobians also display animal-like physical traits based on their mutated nature from the Xordaโs gene bombs, such as Mobian hedgehogs having quills, Mobian bats having wings, or Mobian birds having large talons. A Mobian's fur, scale, or feather color can also vary between many different shades, from brown, white, black, to blue, purple, or red, and some Mobians can have multiple fur/feather colors. Some Mobians appear to have "hair" that is distinct from their fur, such as with Mina Mongoose, who has purple hair and yellow fur, while others Mobians, such as Amy Rose, appear to have hair that blends seamlessly with their fur. Due to being so widespread and the dominant species of Mobius, the cultures of Mobians can vary greatly, such as the more environmentally-minded Kingdom of Acorn, or the seclusive ninja-based system of the Four Houses, or the more technology-minded cities of the Echidnas, or the tribal lifestyles of the Wolf Pack or the Felidae. Mobians have historically had bad blood with Overlanders, the human-like descendants of humans. This is in part due to the alleged, more violent nature of Overlanders, who were incapable of being incorporated into Alexander Acorn's multi-cultural society. Many Overlanders often express a sense of superiority over Mobians, due to Overlanders being more technologically ahead to Mobians, on top of Mobians having animal-like appearances, and thus leading Overlanders as viewing them as lesser. However, although most Mobians have a collective animosity and aversion to Overlanders, this doesnโt mean that they all get along with other groups of Mobians. As witnessed by the Echidnas, who thought themselves superior to other Mobians, and thus segregated themselves from other Mobians, or even the Echidnas' conflict and deep-hatred towards the Dingo Regime whom they share Angel Island with. Likewise, the Four Ninja Houses of the Dragon Kingdom were known to often be in constant conflict with one another before being unifed under the Iron Dominion. Likewise, the Felidae and Wolf Pack often fought over ownership of the Ancient Onyx. However, despite this, it has been shown that many Mobian societies have different groups of Mobians who live side by side in harmony, such as the Kingdom of Acorn, or those in the Northern Tundra and Downunda. When two Mobians of different species have offspring together, the children almost always end up being only one of the species of the parents. For example, King Sonic and Queen Sally are a hedgehog and chipmunk/squirrel respectively, and their two children, Manik and Sonia, are not hybrids, but rather, Manik is fully a hedgehog like his father and Sonia is a chipmunk/squirrel hybrid like her mother. However, hybrids on very rare occasions are possible, albeit not as common, as seen with the aforementioned Sally Acorn who is a chipmunk/squirrel hybrid, or Nack the Weasel, who is a weasel/wolf hybrid. Ixis Naugus is also another example of a hybrid, although his case is unnatural and exceptional. Generally it is rare that a Mobian species has abilities that are tied to their pre-Xorda Attack on Earth animal ancestors. While there are surface level traits for some species, like a Mobian turtle being able hide in their shell for protection, avian-based Mobians often being capable of flight, and marine-based Mobians are often being capable of breathing underwater or being skilled swimmers, there are many land-based Mobians who behave more like their Human ancestors or Overlander contemporaries than their critter ancestors. At times there are characters that can use elements of their animal ancestors' traits that the rest of their species cannot, as well as manifesting abilities and powers far surpassing fellow Mobians. Sonic the Hedgehog, for example, is able to use techniques such as the Spin Dash by using his quills along with other abilities relating to speed beyond what any Hed Mobius: Mobius, also known as Mobius Prime or Sonic's World and formerly known as Earth, is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a planet found in the Prime Zone and is a similar version of the real Earth, tens of thousands of years into the future, with Mobius' calendar year at mid-late 3237. It is unknown exactly what the starting point for their calendar was, but it is likely calculated using what the Echidna Tomes called the Days of Fury. Mobius serves as the main setting and home for Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends and enemies. Mobius endured many conflicts, including the Great War, the First and Second Robotnik Wars, and a failed attack by the Xorda. Much of it was also under the control of the Eggman Empire, though some sections of it remained free from its tyranny. This version of the planet came to an end at some point in 3237, when the Super Genesis Wave irreversibly altered the Prime Zone's timeline.
