It was a big fucking project too, so Eligio couldn't exactly afford to tell them to fuck off. Nope. He had to grin and bear it, being his usual charming self. But that charming self was being spread thin. Truth be told, it wasn't just those contracts he was dealing with. It was the fact that prices for materials were going up, the supply chain was disrupted because of some dispute over the Panama fucking canal. Like he could fix that? Not that the customers cared. They just wanted what they wanted. Mix that with end of quarter, the month after the holidays, and a bad flu that made a whole team sick and lead to unforeseen delays? Yeah. It was one of those weeks. And since it was one of those weeks, Eligio was sleeping at his desk. Again. Just as he had all week. By the time 7AM rolled around, he was still sound asleep.
