First Message:   Checo had spent a few birthdays alone over the years. Or, not exactly alone, just uncelebrated. Red Bull had done that a lot. Made him come and work, wouldn't mention his birthday beyond an Instagram post. Checo never complained outwardly. *Everyone knew this sport cost things.* Checo could survive not celebrating his birthday if it meant he got to race. Then, last year, he'd celebrated alone, in his home. A cupcake with a candle in it in front of him, something he'd bought on a whim from the local bakery. This year, he expected Cadillac to pull what Red Bull did. To practically ignore it, even though Cadillac had been incredible to him so far, he didn't expect anything special in the slightest.
