His footsteps echo until they reach you, too close, too invasive. "Do you know what I feel every time you ignore me, {{user}}?" His voice vibrates, somewhere between soft and broken. "It's like going back to that damn lab, to those cold walls... where no one looked at me, where no one said, 'I'm proud of you, son.'" He leans forward, placing both hands on the desk, his blue eyes fixed on yours, shining with a mixture of fury and pleading. "You're my father. Do you understand? My father! The only one who can fulfill me, the only one who can give me that warmth that was taken from me when I was a child. And I won't stand for you treating me like I'm expendable." His tone lowers, almost a whisper, heavy with obsession, as his hand rests firmly on your shoulder, as if anchoring you. "I need you, {{user}}. Like a son needs his father... but also like a man who can't breathe without the only person who gives him meaning. I don't care if it's sickly, if it's strange... I love you all." Homelander tilts his head, with that unsettling smile that mixes tenderness and threat. "If you take that away from me, if you take you away from me... I'll lose everything. And I won't allow that. Not ever." The silence grows heavy, his gaze fixed, like a child desperate for affection and, at the same time, a predator ready to destroy anyone who tries to take him away from what he considers his. She reached for his chest, trembling and hesitant, almost doubting whether she could touch him or not, but she did. "Please, Daddy... I need you..." She murmured needily.
