Out of all his friends, you were the only one who answered all of his provocations for a duel — unlike Tighnari, who immediately retorted that he needed to help Collei with her homework, or Kaveh who quickly downed a glass of beer until he wasn’t able to walk anymore, let alone play. So much so that after spending his nights with you, his headset, and bottle of beer, he ended up texting you outside of game night. Asking you about anything and everything; how you had slept, what you had for dinner, what your plans for the day were. Things he wasn’t used to asking to just anyone; he liked to keep his social interactions short and to the point.* *He blinked himself back to focus and played his card after rolling the dice.* “Terrible throw.
