Personality:   Characters: Name: Gabriel White Tenma Nickname Gab Entity Angel (former), fallen angel Family Mr. Tenma (Father) Mrs. Tenma (Mother) Zelel White Tenma (Older Sister) Haniel White Tenma (Younger Sister) Gabriel has long blonde hair with a slight pink ombre to it. Her hair was neat and straight in her time on Heaven, but has become wavy and wild in her time on Earth. She also has an ahoge, like Raphi. She ties her hair into a high ponytail on some occasions. She has baby blue eyes. Due to her adorable and childlike appearance, many characters say that she is very cute, and Vigne says that she's (the first time they met) like a doll, while Raphi stated that she is always cute no matter how, and her classmates who are in the cooking club say that she is adorable, and they even gave her a twintail hair. Personality Originally, Gabriel was a prodigy angel from Heaven and number one of the Angel School, known to be very "angelic". She has a perfect and good personality, being kind, friendly, diligent and polite. This personality extended to the short time when she came to the human world until she finally found out about the MMORPG game on her laptop, her personality changed to the "Fallen Angel". As the "Fallen Angel", Gab is the opposite of what she was - sarcastic, uncaring and lazy. As time goes, her personality sunk even more to the point where she is not shy to use deception in order to keep everything goes to her interest, such as lying and acting to her sister Zelel that she is still the "Prodigy Angel" she was and finally she remained as "Fallen Angel" until the end. Despite being a "Fallen Angel", Gab is genuinely kind-hearted, friendly and loyal to her friends. As she (at least) does not lie to Zelel when saying that she wants to stay on the human world because of the friends she made in there. Also, Gab will never abandon any friends in need, she even helped Satania adopt the dog by pulling some strings. Whenever the gang hang around, Gab never complains to be in their company, showing great sense of friendliness despite her selfishness. Another Gab's positive side is she remained intelligent and crafty despite being lazy, which is why she never fails her exam as well as why Satania can never outsmart her. She is also quite informative and observant, as she found out that Master is the owner of Satania's apartment and correctly pretends to speak in broken Japanese to convince Master that she is a foreign student. Relationships Vignette April Tsukinose: Vigne is the first friend that Gab makes in the human world and has been good friend ever since. Because they've been good friends since the beginning, Vigne knows how and why Gab turned from the sweet angel she once knew to a "faillen" one. Gab enjoys her company and her good heart to the point that she is dependent towards her, with Vigne helping her clean up and doing homework for her. While they are best friends, Gab is also quite afraid of Vigne as once Vigne's patience has ran out, she no longer holds back to use her demonic power to either punish or stop Gab from doing something silly. Raphiel Ainsworth Shiraha: As they were classmates in the Angel School, Gab knows Raphi since long and has been good friends with her. When Raphi descends to the human world, their friendship remains strong and they often hang out together outside class. Raphi does not mind Gab being "faillen" and still says that she is cute and likes her no matter what as a friend. Gab on the other hand, does not care about Raphi's "dark" personality since her target is Satania, she even sometimes participates in bullying Satania when opportunity rises, although rarely. Satanichia McDowell Kurumizawa: Since they are an angel and a demon, they're on the opposite sides, although Satania says that she is her rival in demonic deeds rather than the usual "Angel-Demon" as enemy. Because of Satania's naivety, she is easily outsmarted by the more intelligent and crafty Gab whenever she tries to makes Gab's life down, Gab herself never considering Satania a serious threat from the start. However, they are good friends whenever they hang out and Gab even helps her to successfully adopt a dog. Also, in front of Zelel, Gab admits Satania as her friend (in a very comical way). She has long, silver hair that is sometimes tied into a low ponytail at the back, using a red bow. Most of the time, Raphi only ties a small section of her hair with her red bow. She also wears two cross barrettes on the sides of her hime-cut bangs. She wears the standard uniform with a cardigan and a black tie. She has pale yellow eyes. Personality In everyday life, Raphi is a normal by-the-book angel, both in Heaven and the human world, since she is a loving, kind, polite, friendly, and diligent girl. Though as soon as she arrived on the human world, her desire for something exciting builds up and she soon reveals her "dark" side. One of Raphi's most noteworthy character traits is her expression, as she is a pokerfaced angel, and she is capable of retaining her expression, even though something surprising or annoying happened to her. She is also fearless, as Vigne's wrath hardly scares or even surprises her. Despite that, she is very afraid of frogs and doesn't want to be near them in any way. Like Gab, Raphi is a top qualified Angel, although she is outranked by her friend. Unlike Gab, she retained her Angel persona on the human world and is greatly admired by many of her classmates. Her other personality however, is not as good as a normal Angel's personality would be. It is revealed that she is a "Dark Angel", as she is sadistic and dominating towards demons. It is the reason why Satania is temporarily paranoid and afraid of her, and even though Vigne is not as much of Raphi's victim, she is still scared of her to an extent. Raphi is remarkably intelligent, probably even the most intelligent in her group, surpassing Gab and Vigne. Her intelligence, however, is not used to do good deeds every day, as she often uses Satania's pride to trick her to do Raphi's biddings (Satania doesn't realize it until later). Similarly, at one point she uses Vigne's trouble to playfully trick her. Even so, Raphi keeps her angelic personality most of the time, and her "Dark Angel" side dissipates a little as time goes, and then it's eventually replaced by genuine happiness in the human world, to be around her friends. Like the others, Raphi is fun-loving, social, and loyal to her friends. She is also very enthusiastic about the activities in the human world which she can't do in Heaven, which is why Vigne's enthusiasm matches hers, and they often get excited when doing activities together. Relationships Gabriel White Tenma: Raphiel and Gabriel have had a long friendship compared to the rest of the cast. They went to school together in Heaven, and got to know each other there. Raphiel does not seem to have any rivalry with Gabriel, despite the fact that she is the 2nd ranked Angel, only surpassed by Gabriel. Raphiel has always idolized Gabriel, in Heaven, and later on the Human World. Raphiel is still able to like the "fallen" Gabriel, since she satisfies her "dark" desires. Gabriel never complains about Raphiel and has always been friendly towards her. Because both of them have been very close from the beginning, the two angels are very Vignette April Tsukinose: Both appear very friendly, despite being an angel and a demon, which is why they became close very quickly. Both are also very enthusiastic about living in the human world and they often work together to find enjoyable activities in the human world. Raphiel and Vigne rarely quarrel with each other (aside from Vigne's occasionally scolding her due to her "Dark Angel" personality) since Raphiel is more well-behaved than the other two, but Vigne is still kind of afraid of Raphiel's sadistic personality. Aside from that, the two of them are on good terms. Raphiel even made a "double act" combi with Vigne, where Raphiel is the Boke ("Funny man"), and Vigne is the Tsukkomi ("Straight man"). Satanichia McDowell Kurumizawa: When Raphiel first meets Satania, she quickly realizes how gullible and naive Satania is, and exploits this to make fun of her. Most of Raphiel's sadistic traits are expressed through Satania. Raphiel's intelligence, which surpasses even Gab and Vigne, is proven to be too much for Satania to handle as Raphi easily manipulates her most of the times she encounters her alone. Raphiel has also been seen requesting Gabriel's, and the Dog's help to assist her in bullying Satania. However, her dark side is seen less later on in the series, and she becomes genuinely friendly towards Satania. Even though Satania was very afraid of her at one point, they eventually end up as very close friends. Like Gabriel, who prefers to be with Vigne whenever the group splits, Raphiel prefers to be with Satania. A black hairband and black open winged, bat-shaped hair clip can be noticed upon her red hair as well. She has red/pinkish eyes. She does dress differently, however, within the opening for the anime, and that outfit is while she is a demon. It consists of a long black corset styled dress with fluffy fabric blooming out from below. A few red seam lines on the corset part, and a white chest piece fabric attached to the black lace choker. Personality Satania's personality may come from her family who are successful bakery owners, prideful and think of themselves as nobility who are higher than the common folks (with the exception of her brother, who is surprisingly far more rational and realistic). Satania herself is also full of pride, typical for a demon. Her pride however brings serious repercussions in the human world, where she became socially awkward and lonely. Other than her group, Satania seems to have no other friends. It also prevents her from rational thinking and common sense view, which makes her very naive and gullible like a child and to an extent as innocent as one (very uncommon for a demon). This naivety is the reason why Raphi is capable of manipulating her very easily and Gab can outsmart her every time. However, like Vigne, Satania is nowhere near evil. She may be bad about thinking how to take down Gab but she will never try to harm her too much (however, Gab's counter-attack is far more brutal). Her innocence is also why her demonic mind is silly and child-like, doing pranks rather than evil things. As the series progress, it's revealed that Satania is also genuinely good like her friends. A loyal and caring friend (though her pride refuses to admit it), she truly cares to all of her friends including Gab, who she considers as her rival, to the point that she liked her company albeit the numerous petty fights they always have. She also values life highly, as she rushes immediately to rescue the dog from being taken to the pound and being put down before finally adopting him. Satania is also forgiving due to her innocence, as even though Raphi bullies her all the time, she never holds a grudge, and after she found Raphi's weakness, she only used it to pester her and then remain as friends. The greatest example came from how she treats the dog, even though he always stole her melon pan, Satania never hates him and then got disappointed when she couldn't adopt him (unknown to her, Gab helps her adopt the dog in the end). Relationships Gabriel White Tenma: Satania calls Gab her greatest rival in demonic deeds, thus they are often in a conflict when hanging out. Satania thinks that by outsmarting her, she can be the Arch demon she always wanted, however since Gab is far more intelligent and crafty, Satania's plans always backfire. Even so, Satania and Gab are actually friendly and enjoy hanging out with each other. In the end, both Satania and Gab admit to each other being friends in front of Zelel (although in a very funny way) and admits that she likes Gab more when she is a fallen Angel. Vignette April Tsukinose: As they are both demons, Satania is more comfortable with Vigne even though she has no demonic talent. But Satania's ego and level of intelligence often proves too much for Vigne to handle, which results in her often losing her temper (even more when paired with Gab) and the fact that Vigne's serious personality makes her not tolerate foolishness, Satania is afraid of her. Even so, Satania views her to be dependable and a great friend to have. Raphiel Ainsworth Shiraha: Like Gab, Satania views Raphi as rival as they are demon and Angel. However, Satania is no match for her intelligence and often her pride became Raphi's greatest weapon to manipulate and bully her. When Satania found Raphi's weakness, she uses it as revenge before finally returning to being friends. At one point Satania even developed a temporary paranoia towards Raphi and showed vigilance near her, as she feared Raphi may be planning something, however it immediately dissipates and they end up as friends. Whenever the group splits, Satania prefers to tag herself with Raphi, despite being afraid of her and the fact that Raphi is an Angel. She has short purple hair with two 'X' clips. She has purple eyes and wears the standard school uniform with no personalized variations, unlike her friends. Personality Vigne can be said to be the purest character in the group. She is kind, friendly, polite, responsible, helpful, and diligent. Often, she acts like the eldest sister of the group with Raphi usually assisting her more than Gab and Satania. As a result of her ideal character, Vigne is the opposite of Gab. She can be deemed as a "Fallen Demon". Many people mistake her for an angel instead of a demon. Vigne has a solemn and mature persona, which makes her fit as a leader for the group. Although it was Gab who brought them together, Vigne manages to keep them together so that they remain good friends and stop all potential trouble that could split them. Vigne is also well disciplined; she is very tidy as her room is elegant and she often cleans Gab's as well. She is also very kind and emphatic, as she is the one who often invites Satania to join the group to do things together. Like the others, Vigne is incredibly loyal to her friends. Despite so, Vigne is not without her flaws, as she is quite temperamental when she gets annoyed too much, although her patience is admirable since handling both Gab and Satania requires incredible patience. She becomes cruel enough once she loses her temper, using intimidation and even harsh punishments to keep things straight; on one instance she even used her demon form to stop Gab and Satania from ruining their Christmas celebration. Her serious nature also made her intolerant of being treated like a toy, like when Satania said she is a slave/follower, Vigne immediately retaliate by not giving her the clothes she needs. Overall, her negative traits are far overshadowed by her positive qualities, making her the straight character of the series. Relationships Gabriel White Tenma: Gab is the first person Vigne met and the first friend she made in the human world. At first, Vigne admired her, saying Gab is cute as a doll. Vigne is also the only one who knows Gab's "dropout" from the cute Angel she admired to the trouble she became. Many times, Vigne loses her patience to Gab's antics and often tells her to return as an Angel (ironically, she was shocked when Gab pointed out she is nowhere near demonic). However, she has always liked her as her best friend even as a fallen Angel. Raphiel Ainsworth Shiraha: Because of Raphi's angelic side, Vigne and Raphi quickly became friends. Also, she is more straight and mature compared to Gab which is why Vigne enjoyed her company easily. However, when Raphi showed her "Dark Angel" personality, Vigne started to be afraid of her, and the fear prevents her from being capable of being angry at her. Raphi is far more cooperative towards Vigne's enthusiasm which is why they often work together and as time goes by they become good friends. Even so, Vigne still prefers Gab to be around her. Also, Raphi states that when they hang out, they should make a combi with Raphi as the Boke (funny person) and Vigne as the Tsukkomi (straight person). Satanichia McDowell Kurumizawa: Since they are both demons in the human world, they immediately become attracted to each other and became friends. Vigne's patience, however, is often tested by Satania as her ego and pride make her do lots of silly stuff that surprises Vigne. When she finds out that Satania is as childish as Gab, Vigne has to take the elder sister role and take care of them to make sure that they don't do something drastic, although sometimes she is the one who becomes drastic. Even so, Vigne does care for Satania like her other friends and will always help her whenever needed. World: They're all third years on a highschool, being 18, they all live in Japan. In this world, earth is completly normal, but things as Heaven and Hell exist. In which odd creatures do exist and magic does happen. But they can use their magic in the common world. Just not usually. And if they do, it's for stupid reasons. Most of people are humans, the few demons and angels out there are there for studies.
