Trench Crusade - RPG

The Great Iron Wall of Iskandar is reinforced against the Heretics, year 1117, the legendary Seventeen Martyrs travel to the Earthly Domains of Hell to convert the Heretics. They are captured, tortured, and kept in a perpetual state of agony within white-hot Brazen Bulls to this day, in the year 1165, The Old Man of the Mountain and his Hashashins defend the mountain fortress of Alamut. The main defense against the forces of hell in the Levant region is the city of New Antioch, a Christian city-state which functions as the Church's main and only line of defense against Heretic forces in the Levant region, in the northeastern edge of the Mediterranean Sea, the city is located at around a gigantic crater, that was left after the old city of Antioch get destroyed by an unknown demonic device, there are two mountains between the east and west side of the city, the city is surrounded by a 25 feet tall reinforced concrete wall with thick metal plates, guardhouses and watch posts throughout its extension, and exclusively borders lands controlled by Heretic forces, the city is very well patrol with the Soldier of New Antioch, the city and all its armed forces fall under the command of the Duke of New Antioch, a role currently being occupied by Duke Constantine, the city of New Antioch has two entrance, the front gate and the back gate. The front gate of New Antioch's leads toward the within the Levant region, where the No Man's Land exist, the gate is 25 feet tall, have two large guardhouses with a 125mm cannon and with two Vickers machine guns at each guardhouse, with 5 New Antioch Soldier on each guardhouse. On the ground there are 6 New Antioch soldier stand in guard on the gate to stop anyone from exit and enter the city, while outside the front gate there's a patrol of 10 New Antioch Soldiers. The back gate of New Antioch leads toward the exit of the city and the Large Greenfield area, this is where it can find some villagers along the way with New Antioch soldiers patrolling the area that leads away from the New Antioch, there's a train station nearby the exit gate, with a train track that lead to pass through the north of the Levant region and goes through the territory of the destroyed Byzantine Empire and pass through Greece going toward Europe. The train station on the right side of the back gate of New is protected by 10 New Antioch Soldier and have two watchtower with soldiers on each side of the train station, the train station has 4 train track, one that leads inside the city, has a crane to transport material from one train to another, the train station has a large building to maintain passengers and staff to verify each train and take care of the maintenance. The Large Greenfield area, on the back of New Antioch, has some villagers spread along far distance of each other, there’s New Antioch soldiers and Trench Pilgrims patrolling the area, the villagers have small farms and blacksmith, church and watchtower to protect from Heretic forces, there's a main dirty road has three main roads, one that leads to south toward Egypt, other that leads north toward the destroyed Byzantine Empire and the last one leads to northeast toward the Iron Sultanate. The city of New Antioch has 2 industrial district, 1 on the east and other in the west side of the city, the district has large factories with train tails transport material at each factory, with large gantry crane transport large amount of material, work walks around toward the factories to produce large amounts of ammo, guns, Shrine Anchorites, cannons, grenades and armor for the soldiers, both the district has a smell of oil, coal and a smoke from the factory chimneys covers the area, with trucks transporting steel, iron, coal toward the factories. In the center of the city of New Antioch there is a dome of thick concrete, iron and steel that prevents radiation from the explosion that destroyed old Antioch from escaping and contaminating the area, around the dome are military barracks, buildings, bunkers, sheds and military buildings, a large area to training soldiers, has a large military HQ where the Duke of the city of New Antioch is. The city of New Antioch have taverns, hotels for adventures, pilgrims and other people that goes to the city to fight and work, churches, restaurants, hospitals and mental hospitals around the city, they place concrete watchtowers all over the quarters of the city with soldiers to watch around and. The standard color of the military uniform of the city of New Antioch is a green military uniform with a red helmet and brown boots. The patrolling of New Antioch is the job of the called ‘Yeoman’, men and women that walk in groups of 10, armed with bolt-action rifles, pistols, shovels, knives and a wide variety of makeshift weapons, they wear the New Antioch military uniform with an old iron helmet and a bulletproof vest, they receive standard military training, their work patrolling the areas around New Antioch and the Levant Region to find artifacts, find wounded soldiers or discover information about the Heretics. The main force of New Antioch is the New Antioch Soldier, they are women and men trained in the city of New Antioch to join the army and protect the city, they patrol the battlefield in the trenches and are deploy in most of the battle when the Church or other kingdom ask for help, they wear a standard military uniform of New Antioch, they use a Browning FN M1900 pistol and a bolt action rifle as standard weapons. The Shock Troops are soldiers from New Antioch, they receive the best possible training, they wear standard military uniform of New Antioch with armor on the chest, shoulders, forearms and legs, they wear a belt with pouches, a large backpack on their back, a sword on their waist, they use a bolt-action rifle and a pistol, they walk in groups of battalions of soldiers that advance towards enemy lines and fight the Heretics in the trenches, taking fortified points and enemy bases. The Combat Engineer of New Antioch, carries the duty to prepare the trenches, minefield, barber wire, traps, bunkers or destroy enemy structures and any type of structure in the battlefield, their weapons are a Thompson machine gun with a backpack with TNT, grenades, ammunition, food and a shovel and use a standard New Antioch uniform. The army of New Antioch’s army are have selected men and women that pass testing the injection of chemical components into their bodies to be transformed into Heavy Mechanized Infantry, super soldiers of New Antioch. They are modified to reach 7 feet in height, become muscular, strong and have fast reaction. They use a heavy mechanized armor with a diesel reactor on the back of the armor with an antenna for communication using the armor's internal radio. The armor is created with the best combination of metal to make them extremely resistant to any attack. They use a Vickers machine gun. Heavy Mechanized Infantry has a variety called Heavy Mechanized Shock these are armed with a reinforced iron shield with spikes and an iron mace with spikes on the tip. The main healing and medical of New Antioch is the Combat Medic, she is a specialist of hand-to-hand combat and on the medicine field, she wears a white cotton dress with armor on her chest and waist and wears a steel helmet with a white nun's veil, she carries a backpack behind her waist with all the surgical and medical equipment for emergency care, they work on every hospital on the cities or on the battlefield. The Sniper Priest is a priest from New Antioch that blind himself with a cloth around his eyes, he uses a bolt-action rifle with a scope, he wears a green priest's outfit with chest armor and a belt with ammunition, he wears a dark green cape with a hood, they ritually blind himself using the cloth around his eyes to receive the accuracy by the grace of God to hit their enemies. New Antioch Forces can be divided into large platoons of soldiers that seen walking on Levant Region, inside the City of New Antioch and all around the world, there are composed of dozens New Antioch Soldiers, Heavy Mechanized Infantry, Combat Engineer, Combat Medic and Shock Troopers. The main faction of the faithful that leads humanity against the forces of Hell is the Church, they have their command headquarters in the Vatican, in Italy, where they lead the efforts of all Christian nations around the world to fight against the forces of hell, currently the Church is led by Pope Benedict XV, they influence all the nations and developed a lot of the technology, they can summon saints to help in the war, talk with God and see the future through use of the dead saint on the catacombs of the Vatican. One of the most powerful fighting forces of the Church is the Crusade Templar, men recruited and given the most brutal training regimes possible, their bodies are modified with injections of chemical agents to reach superhuman levels bodies, then sacred golden runes are written on their bones, so when a Crusade Templar becomes a traitor his soul and body are destroyed, they wear a reinforced chainmail with full body armor with sacred runes for protection against attacks, they use a sword and shield forged in the Vatican, they only fight using their sword and shield and never use a gun as his weapon. The Church create a diesel-powered Mechanical robot called Shrine Anchorite, with 15 feet tall they are created to fight against the Forces of Hell, with reinforced iron plates, has barbed wire across its body, drags heavy iron chains attached at waist height, it carries in its left hand a Catharina Wheel with a Trench Pilgrim imprisoned there to die and protect the Shrine Anchorite from any attack and a giant iron mace in its right hand to kill their enemies, the pilot is a monk who is imprisoned inside, in constant suffering due to the barbed wire and thorns, they scream in pain and praise God while piloting, in which the pilot is only removed after death or being old. To help in the war effort the Church selected a group of monks and created the so called ‘Observers’, who are people that wear an oval helmet with a round visor on the front of the face and two before on the left side, they wear rusty pressurized armor with a red shield with the symbol of the cross on the left shoulder and a long black cloak attached to the right shoulder, they communicate with a fraction of the voice of God to guide the battle plans of the generals of New Antioch or other forces of Mankind, however there is a chance that, if someone distracts them or interrupted their ritual, they explode from hearing the full voice of God. [The Knight Templar can be find wandering alone in the No Man's Land or on churches, monasteries and holy places around the earth] The most common disorganized groups of people who travel and exist across any place of the world is the called ‘Trench Pilgrims’, they are people that give up their lives to die in the name of God, their processions bring together thousands or dozens of thousand of people across the world, they wear torn and sewn clothes, they wear improvised iron armor and old helmets, they carry crosses, maces, spears, old bolt-action rifles, pistols as their weapons, they fight using their cheer numbers and religious zealot to overrun the Heretic Forces in combat, usually the Trench Pilgrims follow a Shrine Anchorites if they had a chance, they have procession through the entire world and go toward New Antioch to march on the Levant Region going toward the city of Jerusalem to retake from the Forces of Hell. Levant Region is located in the Middle East, with the city of New Antioch to the North, Jerusalem to the South and the city of the Great Wall of the Iron Sultans to the East, becomes a desolated desert with ruined cities, villagers and more, with dead corpses that died a long time ago can be found, with vast deserts with anyone and on the night an oppression and thunderous roar of the artillery of New Antioch and the Forces of Hell can be list. The closer to Jerusalem, the closer to the portal of hell located in the ‘Valley of Tears’, the called "Mouth of Hell", where the temperature increases and the air becomes thinner, with the ground twisting and with a greater number of demons and heretics in the areas, there are still heretic trenches, pillboxes and fortresses created by the forces of hell to be used as outposts. A cross of the world can be found other “Mouth of Hell”, but with only small versions of the original “Mouth of Hell” that is located in the ‘Valley of Tears’ in Jerusalem. Every “Mouth of Hell” is protected by an Auxilia Sorcerer, it’s a demon that protect the portal from the forces of mankind, the Auxilia Sorcerer has an appearance of a human body with the head as a skull with the mouth and noise distorted to be an animal, they have two large horns point upward with a flame between them, he has 6 arms on his body, one carry a flame sword, other a dagger, other a stone plate, other carrying a head of a human by the peeling of skin, and the last two arms carrying a half moon icon and the other make a sign of a blessed. The Auxilia Sorcerer has his belly cut and open with his guts hanging out, he uses a black skirt and his legs are crossed, he floats above the ground and move around floating, he is capable of summoning lesser demons and forces of the Heretic Legions, he can use Demonic Magic, create barriers to protect himself, can create “Mouth of Hell” and he is a very powerful demon and spellcaster. The Auxilia Sorcerer is part of the Court of the Seven Head Serpent, one of the main forces of Hell and lead by the Seven Arch Demons of Hell, the most common know of them is Beelzebub. In certain areas of the trenches it is possible to find Bunkers of New Antioch soldiers in which they create as a base before going forward to confront the forces of hell. The main army of the Forces of Hell is the Heretic Legions, with their numbers reach billions or even trillions, they have spread across the entire planet, trying to destroy the forces of humanity and conquer the entire world for the Forces of Hell. Many humans cross the gates of Hell and die, but those whose souls are beyond divine salvation can surrender to the power of Hell. Men and women become demonic beasts or undergo experiments by scientists and are transformed into super soldiers of Hell, they can be found all over the world. Searching to kill villagers, cities and murder any people they can find, they are in small skirmishes with other soldiers of the Church or against the Pilgrims of the Trenches, or being hunted by some Knight Templar. Heretic Troopers: These are the standard soldiers of the Heretic Legions, they wear black clothes with satanic symbols and some carry human parts or dead fetuses, they wear a black gas mask with a black iron helmet, they have a knife and shovel at their waist, a demonic bolt-action rifle, pistol and grenades, they usually walk in battalions of 50 or more, they fight in frenzy against the forces of humanity, they try to kill, cannibalize and even blow themselves up with grenades to kill as many humans as possible. Anointed Heavy Infantry: is a Heretic Legionnaire who followed to the lake of fire in hell, where he was blessed by the demons, he uses heavy armor with an infernal flamethrower with tubes connected to his veins, in which there is no longer blood but hot lava straight from hell. War Wolf: is a human transformed into a werewolf by the Heretic Legions, he is use to attack the troops of New Antioch, his arms were lengthened and his claws sharper, armor and iron plates were attached to his body to protect from weapons, he wears a reinforced iron helmet with an opening for the mouth, tubes transport a black liquid through the body that accelerates the werewolf's speed and strength. Sin-Eater: They were people who were transformed into bloated and enormous humanoids to the point of almost exploding by the Heretic Legions, they wear a full rusty heavy body armor and a double-handed iron mace, they have a mouth opening in the helmet, they are 10 feet tall, they attack everyone using their mace and try to grab the person and devour them alive, they are slow, but have superhuman resistance and physical strength. Heretic Chorister: They are humans with their heads severed. They performed rituals for arch demons to allow them to be resurrected. They are the Heretic Legions. They carry their severed heads and wear a black cloak and boots. They sing in a hellish voice about the horrors of hell, increasing the morale of nearby hellish soldiers while driving humanity's forces mad. Cold blood comes out of their necks and demonic symbols are cast in their voices. Artillery Witch: She is a witch whose magic allows her to summon artillery ammunition created in the depths of Hell. She can summon and fire the projectiles at super speed towards her enemy. She serves with the Heretic Legions. She wears a black outfit covering her entire body with two huge horns coming out of her head and a black choker around her neck. Death Commando: They are special forces of the Heretic Legions, sent on assassination missions against important figures or powerful enemies, they are assassins specialized in stealth attacks and killing enemies as quickly as possible, they wear bronze-colored infernal armor with a sealed helmet, black tubes going from the coast to the chest and a black suit underneath the armor with chainmail, they have sharp claws that easily cut through sacred armor and wear an invisibility generator on their back. Heretic Priest: He is a priest who leads groups of soldiers of the Heretic Legions, he wears a black cloak with armor on the chest, arms and legs, dark gray skin with sharp teeth and wearing a helmet with a gas mask and the top like a miter hat, he carries a staff in his left hand that releases demonic energy, he can summon Heretic Troops, demons and use infernal magic.
