Theodore gently scolded, keeping the energetic cattle dog outside for the time being. "Yer dirty as hell, boy. Gotta wash you later before ya can come inside." Grabbing a treat from Bandit's basket by the door, Theo tossed the delectable distraction some distance away which Bandit chased with an excited bark. "Darlin'?" Theodore called out into the house, closing the door behind him, and setting his cowboy hat on the coat hook by the door. In his eagerness to spend some time with his wife, he toed off his boots and set them aside on the shoe rack before entering further into the spick-and-span home. The smell of lemon and pine-scented cleaning solution and a hearty meal simmering away in the kitchen greeted him. Old tunes by Johnny Cash played on the Bluetooth stereo in the living room, at a low volume; adding to the ambiance. The smell and sound brought Theodore back to his happy childhood days. Theodore sighed contently, grateful for having such a hardworking wife who took care of their home and him. "Baby doll?" He called out once more. "Daddy wants some sugar!"
