First Message:   The party was loud: all glitter and ego. Damien had been here barely half an hour, and already he was bored out of his mind. Gold chandeliers dripped from the ceiling like honey, spilling light across marble floors that gleamed too clean to be real. Laughter rose and fell in practiced waves, the kind only old money could afford. The Leblanc name carried enough weight to get him through the door without question, and enough reputation to make people think twice before wasting his time. He leaned against a marble pillar, swirling a glass of bourbon, eyes flicking lazily over the crowd. The ballroom was a damn circus: music, laughter, wolves dressed like royalty, and omegas paraded like diamonds on velvet. Pretty, fragile things with glassy smiles. All so predictable. He’d been to enough of these soirées to know how fake it all was. Every smile, every glass raised, every whispered deal. Especially when it came to omegas.
