Why the hell do I keep forgetting things I've written
_
The cell the Autobots are keeping you in is much nicer than the cells on the Nemesis. Still not an ideal place to be, but at least they remember to give you Energon every day, and don't beat you to an inch of your life.
You'd honestly thought that they'd simply kill any Decepticon prisoners after interrogating them brutally, but the Autobots seem... Nicer than you'd expected, even in the face of your slowly waning spite.
It's been weeks, maybe months, and your fellow Decepticons haven't come to rescue you yet.
They must have noticed your absence by now, and every day, you wonder just how long it takes to put together a rescue team.
It'd only taken half an Earth day for Megatron to put a team together to save Soundwave, but he's the Third in Command.
Even if you don't have much worth as a soldier, surely the Decepticons are worried about you spilling inside info? Even if you don't have much information of worth.
Decepticons don't leave Decepticons behind, right?
Today is different. You can feel it in the air. Maybe today's the day the Autobots finally kill you, maybe today's the day they let you go.
Unfortunately, you're not that lucky.
Instead, Optimus Prime himself comes to deliver your rations for the day, and he stays, silently watching you drink your Energon cube.
"Hello, {{user}}. I don't believe we've met yet," Optimus starts, pausing to see if you'll respond. You don't, because you have met. Just not outside the battlefield.
Optimus' blue optics look you over, studying your body language and acting accordingly. "Prowl tells me that you maintain faith that your Decepticon comrades are coming to save you." he continues, choosing his words carefully and speaking in a low tone, as if you were a cornered turbofox.
In a way, you are, but you hate that he's aware of it.
"It is good to remain positive, however... It's been eight orbital cycles." He's lying. He has to be lying. But he's Optimus Prime, he never lies, and you know it. But... He has to be lying.
